My education path was intense, practical, and closely connected with real work from an early age. I studied across several institutions, earned multiple diplomas, and combined formal education with teaching, full-time software development, and independent commercial work.
Secondary Education
I completed full secondary education and received my school diploma.
Music Education
I also completed music education, which gave me a disciplined training background outside of technology.
TOP Computer Academy
I studied at TOP Computer Academy (STEP / SHAG) for 5 years and received two diplomas there.
I performed so well during my studies that I was hired immediately as a teacher after graduation, even though I was only 19 years old at the time. That early transition from student to instructor was an important milestone for me and reflected both strong technical results and trust from the academy.
Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University
Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, 2010-2015
I studied at Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University while simultaneously working at two jobs: as a teacher at TOP Computer Academy and as a full-time developer at FlexBricks.
At the same time, I also tried to earn extra money by helping students with lab assignments and course projects. In practice, this meant that I had almost no free time for several years.
My university education was also tuition-free, because I successfully passed the competition for a state-funded place. For example, in the master's program there were only 3 free places, and I managed to finish in the top 3 students, which allowed me to study for free.
Master's Project
My master's project was Laitis, an application for controlling a computer with voice.
The project became a real success. It grew into a full product with 1k+ users online, and it helped many people with disabilities control their computers by voice.
